Yesterday, I cried; it’s been awhile.

The tears were warm as they slid down my cheek

Individually, each one stated their purpose.

Not a single one declared, “Poor You.”

As they escaped my eyes they said:

This is normal.

It’s okay.

Be sad.

Ache.

Sing the blues.

Let it all out.

Yesterday I cried; it’s been a while.

The tears were warm as they slid down my cheek.

“And tears came before he could stop them, boiling hot then instantly freezing on his face, and what was the point in wiping them off? Or pretending? He let them fall.”
J.K. Rowling, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

    1. Right?! At the beginning of the game on Sunday I said, “Now that Adrian is not playing…we’ll never get to see Teddy” … BAM – insert Matt Cassel getting carted off with an injury…It was like I called Buffalo Wild Wings or something….
