I’d like to blame a YouTube video or something…but I totally winged it.

My husband does it like this …which is precisely why I do not cook, bake…or cut fruit.

  1. It’s an art, really. Mango cutting that is.
    Let the knife do all the work (a very sharp knife) and try not to put pressure on it with your hands. That’s when it turns to mush.
    I’ve never cut a pineapple. THAT looks tedious as fuck.

      The only way I know how to cut a pineapple is how they were cut as a garnish when I was bartending. Any time pineapple is served at my house… it’s in small wedges…Outside [husk? what is that called?] still attached… possibly some core involved.

      It usually goes bad…
