Who is questioning whether it’s a racial slur? It’s simple; there are people who have voiced a distaste for the word, regardless if you want to call it a racial slur or not, it’s disrespectful.
The age of instant communication is among us, friends & foes. The simplicity to record, tweet and share to
a million-billion-trillionvarious media outlets is what has changed, and not much else. Freddie Gray is only the most recent of accounts regarding police brutality & questionable actions by those who are supposed to protect and serve.
I’m thankful that I live in a country that offers assistance to people who need help. I’ve received help. When I no longer needed it, I walked into my son’s school with a check for his lunch account. I was told to keep it & it was clear they weren’t able to wrap their heads around the idea that I wanted to pay for my son’s lunches.
The court proceedings have begun, meaning new information has become available regarding how something like this could happen. While none of it is logical, it should put weight on parent’s shoulders everywhere.
News stories that involve awful parents & kids in unfortunate situations are nothing foreign to the typical Nancy Grace fan, such as myself. It’s almost shameful that it’s a form of entertainment. It doesn’t bring pleasure, or happiness when they describe what’s happened to innocent children who don’t stand a chance. As a mother, or possibly just as a [normal]human being I have a hard time comprehending how anyone can knowingly & willingly harm someone so harmless.
I haven’t really formed any concrete opinions regarding this & I’m not going to over think it. I’m not even going to trash talk his mother. I’ll just laugh…
I’m not saying I would have condoned her immense stupidity, I do however feel confident saying I wouldn’t hate her (as much) if she attempted to do more than crack the windows.
Did any of you see that and actually not think the obvious? Are you questioning what the obvious is? Who knows, possibly it’s not that obvious . Anyone who has not seen Blackfish, go rent it. It is really sad & depressing – but it’s the type of sad & depressing you’ll keep watching. When it’s over, I promise you will never want to go [back] to SeaWorld. (You have my word, it is way better than I just made it seem).
